We are making a number of chages to the layout of the museums and galleries pages. It will take a while to get them all done.

Welcome to the Arts and Cultural Museums on our Site

Museum collage
Inside you will see sample pictures from many of the Art and Cultural museums and public galleries of our region. Our goal is to have the site feel and look like a digital coffee table Art book. The mission of this website is to encourage you to go and visit in person our participating museums and public galleries. We hope you will revisit our site often as the museums update their pictures to reflect the latest exhibitions. Check the Index page to see what museums have posted new pictures in the past month. The word "new" will be next to their name. Other museums are expected to be added as we receive their pictures.

This week's newsletter (7-1-09) of current and soon upcoming museum/gallery openings, closings and events.

Carris Studio

We have taken down the Carris-Studio website since it needed to be completely reworked. It had not been updated for several years. There have been several inquiries from people not familiar with our pottery. This section will be our portfolio and will include work from the different lines we have done throughout our career. Currently we have posted work from Sherrie's "Edo" series that grew out of her interest in Japanese art. All the designs are her original creations designed to have look and feel of the Edo period in Japan.
