Last year hundreds of fans packed the Belle Meade Plantation Carriage House to see legendary songwriters perform their songs in an intimate, historic setting. In partnership with ASCAP, the fourth installment of the series will bring J. Fred Knobloch, Tony Haselden, Roxie Dean, and Dave Turnbull in what is sure to be a memorable night. Guests enjoy a social hour with complementary wine and beer as well as a catered dinner by Pan South Catering, which draws its menus from the Bound'ry and South Street, two of Nashville's favorite eateries. 100% of the proceeds from the Carriage House Music Series go directly to Belle Meade Plantation. About the Talent
J. Fred Knobloch along with Don Schlitz and Thom Schuyler, originated the "In the Round" shows at the world famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. His most recent chart successes were Faith Hill's Top 10 single "If My Heart Had Wings" and GeorgeStrait's Top 10 single "Meanwhile." Ray Charles, Kenny Rogers, Trisha Yearwood, Delbert McClinton, The Dirt Band, Gregg Allman, Ruth Brown, John Anderson, Etta James, Levon Helms and more have recorded songs by J. Fred. tony h. Tony Haselden has penned hits such as the No. 1 single "It Ain't Nothin" recorded by Keith Whitley, the Top 10 hit "Take It Like A Man" by Michelle Wright, the No. 1 hit song "You Know Me Better Than That" by George Strait and Top 10 single "That's My Story" by Collin Raye. Dave Turnbull's recent chart successes include Montgomery Gentry's No. 1 smash single "Lucky Man," the current Blake Shelton single "The More I Drink," as well as Darryl Worley's Top 10 hit "If Something Should Happen," Trace Adkin's touching military tribute "Arlington," and Jeff Bates' single "One Second Chance." The Tennessee Jazz & Blues Society announces the 2008 schedule of its highly successful “Jazz on the Lawn” series held on Sunday afternoons at Belle Meade Plantation. All concerts begin at 6:00 PM on the front lawn of Belle Meade Mansion. Continuing will be the very popular food catering and wine service.
This season’s line-up will feature some of Nashville finest jazz musicians, several have not appeared in a TJBS concert in many years.

Sandra and Bruce Dudley, featuring vocalists Connye Florance and Rebecca Sayre
June 1
Joe Johnson and his smooth jazz band. Tracks from his new CD will be featured.
June 22
Denny Jiosa and band. This nationally known guitarist will play selections from his new CD and earlier hits.
July 6
Pattie Cossentino, a fine sax player and vocalist, leads her wonderful band.
July 20
Moe Denham fires up his delightful Hammond B3 organ for some great jazz and blues.
August 3
Trabuko will excite the audience with great Latin jazz.
August 17
Michael Fair, a Nashville favorite, will delight listeners with his smooth style.
Benita Hill will provide her sultry vocals.
Bring your lawn chairs, snacks and friends. Wine service is available. Catered food is also available.
Belle Meade Plantation is located at 5025 Harding Road. Gates open at 5:30 PM.
General admission is $20 per person for non-members. Annual membership-$50.
