The Anchorage Museum is the largest museum in the Alaska, with more than 170,000 square feet of indoor galleries and public space. Located in the heart of downtown Anchorage, the museum offers a distinct cultural experience for residents and visitors. The museum’s permanent collection holds more than 26,000 objects, 575,000 historical photographs, 14,000 publications and 800 maps.
