Santa and His Helicopter Land at the Pink Palace (all ages)

Santa Claus will be flying in to the Pink Palace Museum for the opening day of The Enchanted Forest Festival of Trees. He will arrive by whirlybird at 9am to meet and greet visitors. Santa’s arrival is open to the public. We’ll have donuts while we wait, compliments of Daylight Donuts.

Grand Canyon Adventure: River at Risk

Set in the Grand Canyon on the iconic Colorado. A stirring score featuring songs and music from the Grammy Award-winning Dave Matthews Band sets the mood for this adventure that explores the spiritual, artistic and life-sustaining powers of water. The soundtrack by the Dave Matthews Band is available locally only at the Pink Palace Museum Store. Grand Canyon Adventure: River at Risk is presented by Teva and proudly supported by Kohler.
Mummies: Secrets of the Pharaohs

Follow explorers as they piece together the archeological and genetic clues of Egyptian mummies. These relics of the past create a window into the fascinating and mysterious world of the pharaohs. To unwrap the secrets of the pharaohs is to glimpse perhaps the future of our own civilization.

Enchanted Forest Festival of Trees

A Memphis holiday tradition, the Enchanted Forest is full of delightful animated characters, model trains, gingerbread houses and dozens of beautifully decorated trees. Presented by TWIGS of Le Bonheur. All proceeds benefit Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center. Admission to the Enchanted Forest (only) is $5 for adults and $4 for seniors and children (ages 3-12). Explore the great outdoors with easy walking trails leading through the meadow, over the lake, and into the forest. Picnics are encouraged. Take advantage of the abundant picnic tables and scenic views. Stop by the Backyard Wildlife Center before or after lunch to watch noontime feedings: Tuesdays, Thursday & Saturdays for Box Turtles: Wednesdays for Rufus the Red-tailed Hawk: and Fridays when snakes get thawed, frozen mice pops. Yum!
