Olana State Historic Site

Frederic Church's Olana
The paintings and collections in the richly decorated, Eastern-inspired home illustrate the story of Olana's creation and its importance to Church and his family as a place of refuge and inspiration. Frederic Church, one of the premier American landscape painters, will forever be associated with the Hudson River Valley, where he painted and made his home.
