Ad Rates

Email potential ads to tom@artmuseumtouring.com. Include on which page you would like the ad to appear and links you would like added. A PayPal invoice will be sent for payment. Once we are notified payment has been received, the ad will be posted. PayPal offers the option of paying in installments.

Museum Pages
A picture of the museum is featured at the top of each of its pages. Most museums have a main page with images from each temporary exhibition on view, or that will be opening soon. Closed exhibition images remain posted until replaced with images from the next exhibition. A museum's main page is never without images. The bottom section of the main page has general information about the museum: contact information, link to museum's website, hours, mission statement, etc. In the bottom section there is, also, a list of current (or opening soon) exhibitions with a link to the PR about each of exhibitions on the museum's Exhibition Page (pg. 2).

Art Museum Touring is a family friendly website and is used in classrooms. We reserve the right to refuse ads we consider inappropriate. We, also, do not accept political ads. Basic Ad Size for Museum page and Exhibitions pages
Each ad may contain active links to the featured venue and, if desired, to a sponsor website.
Ads may be changed once a month at no additional cost as long as the ad remains the same height.
Total ad column height is determined by the amount of content from each museum's exhibitions and related information about the museum.

Ad coluimn is 200 pixels wide (fixed): ads; therefore, are 200 pixels wide.
Minimum ad height is 100 pixels. Many ad coliumns are over 2,000 pixels high.

Ad Rates (based on mininm size of 200 pixels wide x 100 pixels high
Quarterly (minimum ad prriod) : 13 weeks = $390 ($30/week per 100 pixels H)
Annually: (52 weeks - only pay for 48) = $1,440 Plus option of renewing (one time only) next year at the current ad rate.

Rate for ads taller than 100 pixels is proportional to height of ad.

Reserving Ad Blocs
A bloc of ad space can be reserved to save position in an ad column. The desired ad space must be paid for first. The ad clock will not start for 7 days allowing time to fill the purchased space.

Adding Permanent Exhibitions
Most museums have permanent exhibitions that are on view all the time. The KMA has 4; the McClung has 5. Art Museum Touring only posts free the temporary exhibitions at a museum. Permanent exhibitions can be added to the museum's main page and related PR to its Exhibition Info page (pg. 2). There is a one time charge of $1,500 for each. The permanent exhibition would continue to be featured on the museum's AMT page even if it goes on tour. It would be listed as “currently on tour”. The assumption is that it will be back on view at the museum at some pont in the future unless the museum tells us otherwise. Exhibition sponsor would be listed with the image credits and active link to their website if desired.
