The majority of the museums featured on Art Museum Touring have reopened. Most have implemented safety procedures that visitors must follow. Many are requiring reservations for specific visiting times that can be made by visiting the museum's webstie. Many museums remain closed, especially university museums. Some museums that have previously opended have been forced to temporarily close again due to COVID ouitbreaks in their area. Most museum events are now virtual events.
